Selection & Hire Guide

SELECTING YOUR PLATFORM

When you make an enquiry you will be asked the following questions.

1. Height you require to reach?

2. Outreach if over any obstacles?

3. Minimum outreach height?

4. Maximum load you require to lift?    i.e. men, tools and material

5. Inside or outside use?

6. Ground conditions – slab, compact or rough?

7. Battery, Electric or Diesel?  If electric, power supply available 110v 220v for recharging purposes?

8. Ground loading and accessibility?

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

For insurance purposes ALL PLATFORMS are HIRED subject to the General Conditions of the Scottish Plant Owners Association together with our own supplementary conditions.

Copies of Hire Conditions are available on REQUEST and customers are urged to check that they have adequate Insurance to cover loss or damage to any Platform whilst on hire.

All our Platforms comply with the Health & Safety at Work requirements.  You should ensure that a competent person is in charge of any Platform and that the Operator has been properly trained and is conversant with the information provided.
